Awesome Garlic Cheese Bread Recipe

By Sebastian Manning

I was out to dinner lately at a local Italian family bistro. There was something so interesting about their garlic toast, I had to ask the server if the cook would tell me how they made it. The server laughed, and replied that there is not any way her 'Pop' would be pleased to share his secret garlic cheese bread recipe. That sparked my hunt for a legitimate garlic cheese bread recipe. I tried many recipes but they were all missing something. Then, it hit me. It's not so much about the ingredients as it is about the preparation. The ingredients here are straightforward and you are free to modify them as you see fit, but pay attention to the preparation directions, as it is what makes an extremely special garlic cheese bread recipe .

Ingredients(Make substitutions if you would like.)

One medium size loaf of French bread

Two (2) tbsp butter

2 tsp garlic powder

One (1) tsp parsley

One (1) tsp oregano

One (1) tsp basil

Quarter cup Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup Havarti cheese

1/4 cup blue cheese

Preparation Directions

Pre Heat your cooker to as hot as it can go (Maximum of 550F. If it isn't going that high, then that's O.K, just max it out.)

Cut your bread into four equal pieces and then lay them flat.

Spread the butter across every piece of bread similarly. You can opt to use more butter, or less butter dependent on your preferences.

Microwave the buttered bread for 15 seconds. No longer than this! This may melt the butter and keep the bread soft on the inside, even though it gets toasty and crispy on the outside.

Uniformly share the cheese across each piece of bread, top the cheese with garlic powder and your seasoning herbs.

Place the bread in the heated stove for almost ten minutes. Dependent on the heat of your stove, it may take a touch more time or maybe even a bit less.

Once the cheese is bubbling round the edges, then it's time to remove the bread from the cooker, and serve it hot.

There you have it, a simple but restaurant-style garlic cheese bread recipe you can prepare at home that's really a great snack for all the family while watching your favourite movies. Then next time I went to the Italian restaurant, I asked the server if I had worked it out, she just laughed and recounted "Shhhh!!! ".
