How much intake of meat is normal per week

Meat is used in different recipes especially in curry, hamburgers, stakes, BBQ etc, but use of everything is bad.

Besides having many advantages, excessive use of meat is injurious to human health as it can result in many metabolic disorders and raise in cholesterol level in the human body There are a number of meat recipes available on internet and published in the recipe books.

Processed meat and red meat lie at the top of pyramid of healthy eating. Processed meat such as hot dogs, bacon and deli meat contains high concentration of sodium. Moreover, studies show that higher intake of red meat and processed meat can lead to heart diseases.

Consequently one should cut down the intake of red meat up to two times a week avoiding processed meat.

Chicken and fish meats are healthier than red meat as they help to decrease the cholesterol level resulting less chances of catching diabetes and heart problems. Feel free to have poultry meat like duck and chicken more than two times in a week.. Dieticians suggest to eat boneless, skinless chicken.

Alike chicken, fish meat has no restrictions for healthy diet.

Below are some disadvantages of meat that will lead you towards its limited usage:

• Bad news for meat loving persons, meat is a rich source of protein and other nutrients but lacks in fiber which can cause any health problem. Imbalance fiber amount in the body increases the chances of cancer and heart diseases • Too much protein in the body results in calcium loss from the bones during digestion process

• Surplus Fats and Cholesterol found in meat are very dangerous for health if regularly eaten. • Human Body can get some diseases and worms like tape worm and liver flukes which causes ulcers and intestinal blockage from the meat of infected animals.

• To meet the commercial demand of meat livestock are fed on artificial chemical feeds for quick maturity.

Deep frying or direct heating of such artificial meat surrender chemicals and heterocyclic amines which are one of the causes of cancer, skin allergies and spots
