Studying How To Make A Smoothie With Icy Apple And Fresh Apple Juice

By Florence Myers

There can be nothing like a fruit drink to capture the taste of summer. For those who have frozen fruit in their freezer, a smoothie can be a great way to use it. For those who do not know how to make a smoothie with fruit from your freezer, it is easy to do.

The amounts that are used invariably are dependent on how much fruit you have available. When starting out, it might be best to restrict things to one cup of the juice from a carton and one cup of the fruit. As you get more experience you can decide what amounts to use.

The number of combinations of fruit that can be used are really only limited by the imagination. Fruits that have that touch of sweetness, but also a little bitterness can be ideal for these drinks. The important thing is to use a dedicated drinks make or a blender.

Instead of the usual juices like orange or apple, some people try things like cranberry juice. Some people use a little milk with their drink but not every can handle milk, so if you do want that creamy flavor, a substitute might be best. Those who want nothing but fruit can leave out the milk. Some people also add ice, though with the fruit already quite cold, some may opt to leave this out.

It is best to use a high setting to initially mix the drink, and normally for a couple of minutes. The fruit should be nicely blended with the juice from the carton, which means it is ready to serve. At this stage the drink can be consumed once it has been put in a glass, or you can add a whipped topping to give the drink an extra sweet touch.

It is easy to learn how to make a smoothie straight from the freezer, yet perfecting the art is often down to experience. The more you do, the more you will find out which combinations of fruits work best. Writing down the recipes as you make them will ensure that you can keep your best ones.
