Healthy Recipes: Smoky Corn And Black Bean Pizza

If you really want to lose weight, you know that will not be an easy goal. It is possible to lose weight faster than you think, but it is impossible to lose weight by just having time management for exercise alone. Are you eating well or are you fond of consuming foods that are high caloric and filled with fats that will only help you gain more weight. Choosing the right food to eat as well as the proper amounts of servings of fruits and vegetables is vital in losing weight. Here is a very good pizza recipe that will spice up your current food plan. This is very healthy because it only has 316 calories per serving. All you have to do is to consume more fruits, at least 2 servings of banana or a serving of papaya, watermelons, or strawberries so that you'll not have more than 600 calories for your meal.

Here's what you'll be needing:

* 1 plum tomato, diced
* 1 cup canned black beans, rinsed
* 1 cup fresh corn kernels, (about 2 ears)
* 2 tablespoons cornmeal
* 1 pound prepared whole-wheat pizza dough
* 1/3 cup barbecue sauce
* 1 cup shredded mozzarella, preferably smoked mozzarella

How to prepare:

- Preheat the grill to medium

- Combine the following: tomato, beans, and corn, and place it in a medium bowl. Sprinkle cornmeal into a big baking sheet. Make sure the dough stretches until 12 inch circle and place on top of it the cornmeal, make sure to coat the underside of the dough.

- The crust needs to be moved from the baking sheet to the grill. Have the lid sealed and cook till the crust is puffed and somewhat browned at the base, that might be 4-5 minutes.

4. Using a large spatula, flip the crust. Spread barbecue sauce on it and quickly sprinkle with the tomato mixture and cheese. Close the lid; grill until the cheese is melted and the bottom of the crust is browned, 4 to 5 minutes.

This very healthy pizza will provide healthy proteins and some amount of alkaline residues which can make your immune system better. There are some complex carbohydrates from the pizza dough. This is really a complete meal already.
