Quick Procedure To Blend Banana Smoothies

There are several recipes used in making banana smoothies they are all simple and you can add or subtract an ingredient as per your liking. You will need a banana, four to six ounces of milk, one tea spoon of vanilla and ice cubes. The amount of milk varies according to your taste.

The ingredients will be blended together so you will also need a blender. Slice the banana into the blending jug. Add the vanilla first then followed by the ice cubes. The ice cubes may be three or four as per your liking. Remember that the more the ice the more dilute it shall be.

At this step you shall add the milk. It is preferable that you use low fat milk. Pour in the milk an inch from the top of the jug. The reason for this is so that there will be enough expansion while blending.

Set up the blender and turn it on then place its pitcher in readiness for blending. Blend these contents for a period of thirty five seconds. Stop then blend again for about ten more seconds. Your smoothie is now ready to be relished. It is such a fusion mix you could use a straw to take it.

If you want to make smoothies for quarter a liter then half of these ingredients will be sufficient. You can use skim milk if you prefer though low fat milk give a better result. Put into consideration health factors before making the choice of the milk to use.

If you feel that the smoothie needs to be sweetened you may do so by adding a sweetener of your choice. The smoothie is a perfect breakfast as it is filling and healthy. It is good for children because it provides them with nutrients and at the same time it is delicious.
