French Toast for Special Occasions

By Matt Howard

Are you intending to cook a thing for an anniversary or birthday morning meal? Absolutely nothing expresses your warmth and love a lot better than morning meal in bed. The surprise of a fresh made dish brought right to their bed is unequalled. What thing is sure to put a smile on the face of your beloved? What's the easy and quick yet supplies a great presentation and is guaranteed to be yummy? French toast, of course! However how will you create French toast for that special occasion?

To begin with, it is simple to make! Simply no long processing time or ingredients to purchase. French toast can be done along with the very simple components which we've got on a regular basis in the home: fruits, bread, eggs and milk(optional). If you wish to get creative, there are many French toast toppings you could experiment with. It only requires approximately 10 minutes to prepare all together. It could take a little while according to the topping or decorations. You may also want to bake your very own bread or make a baked French toast. In that case it could be an overnight project. Otherwise, it will likely be a fast and elegant breakfast!

Secondly, it's not time critical. The ideal temperature is fresh and hot, however if you cook in the pan, and need a while to decorate it or take it upstairs/downstairs to deliver to your partner, it is also okay because it's not getting dry such as toast. You can even offer it with some hot maple syrup to make it warm. Additionally, some recipes call for cold toppings such as whipped cream with berries or other fruits, ice cream or chocolate. If that's the case, the French toast does not need to be super hot, otherwise the topping will melt down just before he or she sees the beautiful decorations.

Last but not least, it is very distinct meal, capable to appeal to everyone on all event. You could cook a baked French toast and shape it like pudding or cake. You can create a very simple toast-like French toast with sausages and bacon. I've made a stack of French toasts and stenciled 'Happy Birthday' with chocolate and sugar powder. Is your partner a vegetarian? No problem! You could make French toast along with bread, soy milk, coconut oil with no egg substitute and egg to replace regular bread, butter, milk and eggs.

Generally speaking, there aren't any regulations for how to make French toast. The single thing you need to keep in mind is to become inventive, put your heart into it, as well as enjoy the morning!
