Tea - Nature's Gift to Mankind

Have you ever noticed that the Indians, Japanese, and Chinese live longer than people from other countries? You might think it is because they are just healthier and more active. The interesting fact though is because they live in a nation that drinks a lot of tea. Many years ago a Chinese sage made a remarkable discovery that if a person is a tea consumer then they will experience better well being and overall health. Tea has healing powers that have been tested for centuries and these are responsible for the popularity of the concept of how to make iced tea. There are no longer just a few nations that get to benefit from drinking the beverage. Since it has become known around the world what tea does for your body everyone is enjoying this fresh beverage.

Now, all varieties of tea aren't the same, i.e. oolong, white, black, Ginseng or herbal tea may not be the same when it comes to essence or strength, but they are all same in one aspect, i.e. all these varieties are equally beneficial for the drinker. The following are some of the benefits that one can enjoy through regular consumption of tea:

Antioxidants are found in tea and can aid the body in different ways. It can help with the aging process by keeping the body from getting damaged as a result of some important physiological processes. It can help with reducing the cancer risk and even lower levels of cholesterol. There are a few teas that have more antioxidants as compared to others. The extra antioxidants can be found in freshly brewed tea, tea that is unfermented rooibos, green and white tea.

If you want to protect yourself against heart diseases and reduce the chances of occurrence of heart stroke then it is important to reduce the level of bad cholesterol in your body by knowing how to make iced tea. The reason why you should do this is because bad cholesterol can create clots. So in order to prevent heart attacks and to keep those arteries clear and unblocked one can drink black tea daily.

Even though it has not been proven yet, tea can help keep cancer away. It can even help deter the cancer in case of smokers from burgeoning within their body. If you have prostate, abdominal, colon, or esophageal cancer then reach for a glass of green tea. If you are a lover of the black or white tea then they can also help to a certain degree.

A lot of us suffer from health problems like high blood pressure, hypertension or other common health maladies and our lifestyle is to be blamed. An effective solution for these health problems is to drink oolong or green tea on a regular basis and put into practice the knowledge of how to make iced tea. These two varieties of tea are extremely beneficial to one's health and you just have to try it to believe it.

Consuming tea that is high quality can keep the body hydrated, help with the fight against AIDS, delay Alzheimer's from setting in too quickly, and even give an added boost to your immune system. Green tea has been known to help people that have leukemia, infections that are bacterial, diabetes, and even helps to burn those calories by enhancing your metabolic rate.
