Various Kinds Of Vegetarian Chili Recipe

As per a study done in 2002, most of the people turned vegetarians to improve their health. Keeping away from additives and hormones of animal products was another important reason to leave meat. Once turned vegetarians, people began seeing several health benefits like high energy levels, weight loss and less danger of food poisoning. Worldwide, there are numerous foods which offer delicious and mouth watering vegetarian recipes and some of the most common and preferred ones all over the world are Mexican, Italian, Chinese and Indian vegetarian recipes.

Vegetarian chilli is generally the favorite of every person around the house and this is not only full of vegetable fibre from beans but it also has important amount of protein. There are numerous vegetarian chili recipes varying in ingredients and seasoning but some of the common ingredients are beans, onions and garlic. Many people also add carrots celery and tomatoes but seasoning is what makes a real difference.

Vegetarian Chili Recipe

The simple recipe includes 3 tbsps of olive oil, 8 garlic cloves, 2 19 oz cans of red kidney beans, 2 19 oz cans of dark red kidney beans, 1 envelope taco seasoning, 1 teaspoon dried basil, spoon dried thyme, spoon dried oregano, 1 15 oz can tomato sauce, 3 cups vegetable broth and 1 6 oz can of tomato paste.

You should heat the oil in a heavy saucepan and after the oil is hot, add garlic and onions. Saute for few minutes till onion turns translucent and then add beans, basil, taco seasoning, thyme and oregano. Stir for few minutes again and now add tomato sauce and vegetable broth. Simmer till it thickens and you have the preferred consistency. Keep stirring occasionally to avoid sticking. Lastly, season with salt and pepper to taste. It tastes best when it is eaten fresh but you can refrigerate until cool and then heat it again over low heat when it needs to serve.

Another version of vegetarian chili recipe uses 400 gr diced tomatoes, 2 vegetarian bouillon cubes, 3 tbs flour mixed with 400 ml of cold water, cacao 85% 20 gr and cooking oil. Heat the oil and add 5 crushed dried Chipotle peppers, 3 minced garlic cloves, 1 crushed dried Ancho peppers, 1 crushed dried Pasillo pepper, 500 gr ground vegetarian, 3 medium diced onions, pinch of cumin and coriander and 300 ml beer. Now simmer and give boil stirring occasionally.

Essence of all the vegetarian chili recipes is produced by blending of all the ingredients. Most people vary the ingredients as per their taste and selection. As persons are quite calorie conscious today, they choose low fat vegetarian chili recipe where you use less oil and choose fat-free refried beans.
