A Beginners Guide to BBQ Marinade

By Scott Miller

Barbecue marinade is based on four primary items. If you concentrate on these four items to get you going you can then branch out and get started tinkering with your personal quality recipes. The four simple easy standard ingredients are tomato, mustard, pepper, along with vinegar.

You can now take these particular four items and start making your own recipes. Here's a sampling of some concepts to get you started. Remember, once you understand these particular recipes you will have some confidence so you may want to start testing. You cannot really mess this up, and if you do, start again and keep going. You're sure to come up with something delicious!

Try beginning with tomato as your starting ingredient. From there you'll have to have A couple of tbsps . cooking oil, 1 chopped up onion, an individual tbs. of tomato blend, 2 tbsp .. of vinegar (wine), Two tablespoons of brown sugar, One teaspoon. mustard powder, a couple of tbs. of Worcestershire marinade, and a half cup of h2o.

Cooking Directions: Inside of a pot warm up the cooking oil and mix in onions and cook for 2-4 minutes so onions turn clear. Combine the tomato after that and then combine every one of the remaining ingredients. Heat to a boil and then reduce heat to a simmer for 12-14 min's.

That's it on your first dish. Really quite simple stuff. Like I explained, you can't seriously screw it up. Basic cooking capabilities will certainly suffice so you don't really need to be a professional chef when coming up with Barbeque recipes. Let's try out one more marinade!

Let's start with the vinegar next. For this Bar-b-que marinade recipe you'll must have a couple of tbsp .. of brown sugar, a cup of white wine vingar, A single 4th cup of water, 1 teaspoon. of hot sauce (Tabasco or any other brand similar), and a couple of tsp. of Worcestershire. This is super simple. Cooking Directions: Just combine every one of your items together inside a saucepan and heat them up over low and mix with each other until it's dissolved with a creamy feel. That's it!

How bout some mustard based marinade! To do this sauce you'll really need five tbsp .. of brown sugar, two tbsp . of real butter, 1 tsp of hot red pepper cayenne, a single tbsp . of lemon juice, four ounces of balsamic vinegar, and eight ounces of mustard. Here's an additional easy prep marinade. Cooking Guidelines: Simply put the ingredients inside a pan and heat all of them on low for about a half an hour. Let it cool and enjoy on you're favorite grilling meat or slow cook cut.

Now that you have some basic instructions on how to make the best barbecue Marinade start making your own. You can always do more research but what's the fun of researching if you can't lick some BBQ marinade off your fingers. Make some marinade, enjoy it, and then research different types after you've dipped your fingers. Enjoy!
