Thrilling Breakfast with Pancakes

The obsession we feel for pancakes has inspired several food gurus as well as home bakers to experiment on the ordinary pancake recipe. That is why these days we can easily discover a wide assortment of pancake recipes in cookbooks, specifically on the internet.

Recipe for Hearty Pancakes

Whole wheat flour as well as farina made these pancakes delicious in consistency and truly heart-healthy because of their high fiber component. The blend of golden raisins, applesauce, and vanilla soy milk creates an extraordinary sweetness as well as a low-calorie essence. Look at this recipe for actual hearty pancakes.

Ingredients:

1 cup whole wheat flour 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 1/3 cup uncooked farina (including Cream of Wheat) 1/3 cup sugar 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 cups vanilla soy milk 1/4 cup applesauce 1 big egg, lightly beaten Cooking spray 1/2 cup golden raisins, divided 1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts, divided 1/4 cup maple syrup

Directions?

Gently scoop all of the flours with dry measuring cups; smooth out the top surface with a knife. In the large bowl, incorporate flours, farina, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Stir up mixture with a whisk. In another bowl, merge together milk, applesauce, and egg, stirring till well blended. Stir milk mixture into flour mixture. Stir until nicely combined. Put aside batter for 5 minutes.

Set a nonstick griddle or skillet over medium heat, and grease with cooking spray. Get about 1/4 cup of batter per pancake and put into pan. Sprinkle each and every pancake with two teaspoons raisins as well as two teaspoons walnuts as toppings. Fry for about 1 minute or until the top surface begins to bubble and edges seem cooked. Meticulously flip pancakes over, and cook the opposite side for about 1 minute or until other sides are light browned. Repeat method till the entire batter, raisins, and walnuts are all consumed. Serve next to syrup.
