Recipe for Thin Pancakes

By Ben Panny

Thin pancakes, also named Crpes are producing a comeback in America. Crpe is really a sort of pretty thin pancake normally produced from wheat flour. The word "crpe" is of French origin, deriving from Latin crispa. French thin pancakes originate from Brittany, a region in northwest of France. Currently Crpes are deemed a national French dish.

Thin pancakes could be served with different dips and plain fillings which include fresh fruits, honey, jam, chocolate, or sour cream. You could also staff your crpes with some complicated fillings like meat and rice, or mushrooms, chicken and cheese. Or add some vegetables to your savory thin pancakes.

There are numerous commercial mixes for crpe batter, but you do not need one. Right here is a thin pancake recipe. This regular French pancake recipe is rather simple to make, and the delicate pancakes taste delicious.

Thin pancake recipe

Ingredients:

2 eggs, 1 cups milk, 1 tablespoon butter, cup of all-purpose flour, Pinch of salt

How you can make thin pancakes:

Take a little saucepan and warm the milk and butter till the butter melts. Set the saucepan aside to cool a bit. Next, utilize food processor with a steel blade and process the flour and salt together. While processing, pour the milk mixture and eggs. Process until it's blended. Then, pour the batter into the bowl and let it rest for 30 minutes. Subsequent, add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the hot non-stick frying pan. Using a big spoon, pour two large tablespoon of batter to the pan. Use the bottom of the ladle to spread butter to the edges. After you notice that the batter loses its sheen and the sides start to brown, turn the pancakes using a spatula. The other side will cook quicker than the first side so be cautious. Remove the pancake from a pan and put on a plate. You may cover it with wax paper. Repeat the exact same process with remaining batter. Serve pancakes with desired dip and filling. I hope you like this pancake recipe because it is one of my preferred one. I barely resist these delectable homemade pancakes when I see them.
