Tasty Garlic and Lemon Chicken

This garlic and lemon chicken recipe uses melted butter which makes the chicken tender and juicy and full of flavor. The garlic and lemon are perfect compliments to eachother. To bake the garlic lemon chicken recipe, the following chicken and produce:


8 chicken breasts
Grated peel of a medium lemon
Juice of 2 lemons
1 tbs minced garlic (about 3-4 cloves)
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt or pepper to taste
1 tsp freshly ground white pepper
4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
2 lemons, quartered
1/2 cup sliced fresh parsley

Directions To Prepare Lemon and Garlic Chicken:

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Next clean the chicken breasts with running water.
2. Inside a bowl add the grated lemon peel, the thyme, the black pepper, the lemon juice, 2 tbsps of melted butter and the salt. Blend until all of the ingredients are blended together.
3. Place the chicken breasts in a pan and add to the concoction. Coat each side of the chicken breasts.
4. Place in the fridge and allow the chicken breasts marinate for a couple hours. Rotate the chicken breasts every 30 minutes in order that the flavors get evenly absorbed into the chicken breasts.

5. Lightly grease a baking dish. Remove the chicken from the marinate mixture and place in the dish.
6. Bake for 30 mins in your oven. Stir every 10 min and keep brushing the chicken breasts with the remaining marinade.
7. Cook until the chicken juice run clear. Coat with the melted butter and bake for another 2 minutes to get a crispy dark browncoating on the top of the chicken breasts.
8. To serve, put the chicken breasts on a platter. Pour on the remaining the juices from the baking dish. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and lemon slices.Thegarlic and lemon chicken is ready to enjoy.
