- In Denmark, there are twice as many pigs as there are humans; that is how much they love them. This means that the Danish never have to worry about not having enough pork.

- The Chinese are the largest producers of pork in the world. Experts believe that the Chinese were making meals using pork way back before 7500BC.

- If you wanted to buy the leanest cut of pork then you would have to ask for the loin.

- Pork is a really healthy meat and contains plenty of vitamins and minerals it is a particularly good source of the B vitamins. Protein is also found readily in pork which makes it even more healthy.

- The amount of pork that you eat in one day should not be bigger than the size of your fist and you should only eat this once per day. But you could choose to split this portion up during the day into a number of different dishes if you wish.
