Ingredients:
- One and a half (1 1/2) cups whole wheat flour
- Half cup oat flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- Two and a half teaspoons active dry yeast
- One cup warm water or milk
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- Two (2) tablespoons butter (softened and at room temperature)
- Half teaspoon salt
Method:
- In a mixer bowl, combine the wheat flour, all-purpose flour, oat flour and salt, and set aside.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the yeast, water and sugar. Dissolve the mix well and leave it to stand for ten minutes.
- Pour the yeast mix into the bread machine pan.
- Add the flour mix on top of the yeast mix and then add the butter to one side.
- Close the lid and set the bread machine to run on white bread setting and normal time.
- Cool on a wire cooling rack before cutting in slices for serving.

Ingredients:
- Third (1/3) of a cup chopped onion
- 1 minced garlic clove
- Two tablespoons butter
- One (1) cup warm water
- One (1) teaspoon mixed herbs (thyme, oregano, basil)
- Two cups all-purpose flour
- Two (2) teaspoons white sugar
- One (1) teaspoon salt
- Three quarters (3/4) of a teaspoon active dry yeast
Method:
- In a shallow pan, saute the chopped onion and minced garlic clove 'til tender. Leave aside to cool.
- In a mixer bowl, combine the yeast, sugar and water and leave it to stand for ten minutes.
- Pour the yeast mixture into the pan of the bread baking machine.
- Add the flour, salt and mixed herbs on top of the yeast mixture.
- Cover the bread pan and set the machine to run on normal cycle for white bread.
- After the bread is finished, permit it to cool down for a couple of minutes on a rack before cutting in slices to serve.
