By Zunaira Nazneen

This really is among the best recipe which I attempted numerous occasions in your own home.I hope you want it

A lot of people have a general dislike of eating vegetables since vegetables have an image of being tasteless and not particular filling. However, a vegetable casserole that is well prepared can be very delicious and can quickly change their feelings about that notion. Not only that, this dish is very healthy as well!

Components:

2/3 pounds nappa cabbage

½ lbs cauliflower

½ pounds asparagus

6 tbsp. oil

6 tbsp. flour

1 tbsp. butter

1-1/2 cups chicken stock

1-1/4 tsp. salt

1 tsp. sugar

Preparation: Method

Preheat oven to 450-degrees Fahrenheit (232 Celsius).

Cut cabbage into bite-sized pieces and parboil for around 1 minute. Drain and put in cold water (to stop the cabbage from cooking further). Drain.

Cut cauliflower into bite-sized items. Parboil for two minutes. Drain.

Heat a wok. Create six tbsp. oil. Brown the flour above very low warmth for 2 minutes. Put aside. If you'd like, you'll be able to use three tbsp. butter as an alternative.

In a sizable pot, combine with each other the chicken stock, salt and sugar. If chicken stock just isn't obtainable, beef stock will do. Carry the complete combination to some boil.

Add the drained cabbage and cauliflower in to the boiling stock combination. Include asparagus. In the event you do not have any asparagus prepared, you are able to use spinach like a substitute. Cook for 1 moment.

Remove the greens and set within a casserole dish. Be sure to preserve the stock.

In the wok where you had the flour and oil mixture, slowly add the stock to it while stirring. This is to thicken the mixture. Pour the resulting thick mixture over the vegetables. At this point, you can add other ingredients, like finely sliced ham or parmesan cheese if you want.

Put dish inside the oven to bake for ten minutes. Serve hot ! enojoy
