Waffles are done when they are golden brown on both sides and can be removed easily. You will get about 8 waffles. You'll be able to adjust the yield by changing the recipe. For example, for 4 waffles, use half of each ingredient. For 16 waffles, use twice as much of each.
If you want to get creative, you can add blueberries, cinnamon, chocolate chips, chopped bananas or raisins. Actually, anything you can think of can go inside your batter! Just be creative and make sure that whatever extras you add are sliced or cut small enough to be bite size. Otherwise they may be too difficult to cook and to eat.
This recipe can also be adjusted to be more heart-healthy. Substitute the flour with wheat flour, use low fat butter and free range eggs.
